We have cozy, romantic tents and zomes with beautiful interiors and a private guest experience to focus on each other.

Individuals

Want a comfortable retreat to focus on yourself? Our sites are private and have full access to Wi-Fi. Whether you just want a nice night in nature, a working stay-cation, a mental-health getaway, or crave camaraderie with other eco-minded people we are confident you will enjoy your stay.

Families

Bring the kids! There are hiking trails, nature emersion events, s'mores, telescopes, and yard games as ladderball, cornhole, frisbee, croquet and giant jenga.

Small Groups

Want to have a girls' night out, a company retreat or a comfortable night in nature after a fishing trip with your friends? We can accommodate most small groups, up to about 20 people.

What is included?

No hidden fees or charges!

Your nightly rate includes everything! No pet fee, no credit card fee, no reservation fee, no cleaning fee, no tourism fee, no fee for Wi-Fi or propane use. Other than state and local taxes, the price you see is what you pay.

Pets are Welcome

We welcome your pets, but you do need to let us know in advance they are coming. All pets must be leashed when out of the tent or zome to avoid conflicts with nature or other pets. Additionally, pets may not be left inside a zome or tent unattended.

What is there to do?

We have lots of options to fill your days with wonder! We have several miles of hiking trails with nature viewing and informational signs that talk about the plants and animals you might see. There are hidden "treasures" to find including nature sculptures, treehouses and a few trees with personality! Check out our sunken greenhouse and our sustainable practices,

What is there for kids to do?

Whether it is checking out yard games to play with the family, building birdhouses and bat-houses, or eating smores at the firepit, kids of all ages will enjoy their stay. Mushroom hunting, wildlife watching, nature arts, stargazing, meeting our neighbors' farm animals, heading to Pony Creek Lake, or just exploring the magical trails - it's all a great time.

About Your Stay

Check-In

We will meet you at our fabulous check-in location that we like to call Base Camp. Our friendly staff will get you settled, give you recommendations for food and entertainment, and happily answer any questions you might have. No one's at the check-in? Just shoot us a text and we'll be right out to greet you!

Comfortable Glamping Tents and Zomes

Experience the great outdoors in style with our exotic glamping tents and geodesic teardrop-shaped zomes, which provide all the comforts of home while surrounded by nature. You'll get comfortable beds with bespoke quilts to keep you cozy, bathrooms with showers, and a private outdoor space with a firepit, propane grill, and seating for your whole party.

Relax in Your Space

Each site has a unique fire pit, grill and hammock area, as well as a dedicated bathroom with a shower (including shampoo, conditioner and body wash), and heating and cooling in the tent or zome to keep your stay as pleasant as possible. Need an extra quilt or pillow, or a dry towel - just text us! Let us know if anything in your space needs replaced or refilled and we'll get it right away. We want your experience to be exceptional!

What About the Amenities?

Each tent and zome comes stocked with the essentials. Drinking water, a coffee press with coffee, sunscreen, insect repellent, towels, flashlights, and more, You'll also get a little welcome gift for each guest! Cooking and eating utensils and plates are provided - just bring those consumables with you to have yourself a great cookout! Don't want to do the cooking yourself? No problem - we'll recommend some great restaurants nearby!

Scenic Nature Walks

Take a peaceful walk through the scenic trails of Firefly Outpost, and discover the beauty of nature at every turn. We have fun little "secret" places to discover on the trails and beautiful views in every season.

Special Events

We occasionally offer special weekend events, such as guided night hikes, telescopes, mushroom hunting, birding, yoga, tai chi, drum circles, and more. Whatever it is, it is all included. Ask us what might be going on during your stay.

Extras

There are a few things that we do offer at an additional cost. If you'd like to meet our neighbors' farm animals, buy a birdhouse or bat-house to build and decorate, or get snacks or merchandise there are nominal costs.

What if...

Accidents happen, especially in nature. If there is an issue with an animal in your space, an injury, or something gets broken or messed up please let us know right away. We don't sweat the small stuff, but we need to know about it to make it better!

Check-Out

Just send us a text when you are leaving. No need to make the bed or sweep the floor. We do ask that you kindly wash any glasses, dishes or cutlery used during you stay before you go. We hope you have had a 5-star stay and that we'll see you again.
